Coffee, Hot Chocolate, and Curél® Intensive Healing Cream

I commute two days a week to school, which is about an hour away.  For the past few weeks there has been some road construction going on, and about 7 men are generally on site when I am passing by at 6 in the morning. These past few days have been extra chilly and for a few days there has been a bit of rain. You can’t help having some sympathy for men (and women) that work in those kinds of conditions to make sure that the roads are safer or more efficient for us to travel. I especially consider them in the midst of winter. How cracked and dry their skin must get!

Since we recycle any drink carriers we pick up from time to time, I thought it would be nice to take a couple carriers of hot chocolate and coffee to them on my way to school. So today, I got up a little early and prepped their drinks. As I was walking out my kitchen I saw my BzzKit from Curél^® Intensive Healing Cream sitting on the counter. 

Then it hit me! These poor men must have some dry skin from being outside like that and what a great opportunity to share Curél^® Intensive Healing Cream. So, I packed up a few coupons, samples, and their drinks, and headed out the door.

First, I obviously passed out their drinks and thanked them for working so hard to make the roads better for my travels. Then, I began to explain to them that as a BzzAgent, I received product samples and coupons in exchange for reviewing and sharing the best and most popular products with others. I continued that my most recent campaign was for Curél^® Intensive Healing Cream.

I explained that Curél^® Intensive Healing Cream was not only a product from a highly reputable company, but that it both heals AND prevents dry skin. I made sure to add that it was also fragrance free, and therefore perfect for anyone. I encouraged them to share it with each other and their loved ones outside of work. 

One of the men opened a sample and literally said “My wife might let me touch her with my hands now!” While that guy might have been halfheartedly joking, the rest of the group removed their gloves and tried some too. It was a wonderful experience, not just to bring those men some much needed warmth and caffeine, but to introduce them to a product that can really improve their daily life by improving their skin. I will stop by in a week or so and see how they, and their skin, are doing.
